ADRA and WFP distributed 1.9 million food packages and 14 million loaves of bread
For more than nine months, ADRA Ukraine has been running a food aid project with the support of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). The project covers 12 regions of Ukraine, including hard-to-reach settlements bordering Russian-occupied territories, such as Luhansk, in the east of the country. Since the project began, 1.9 million food packages and 14 million loaves of bread have been distributed across the country.
Since the project began nine months ago, residents of the Luhansk region have received help as internally displaced persons in other regions of the country. During this period, a total of 100,191 food parcels were distributed in the Luhansk region as part of cooperation with the regional state administration.
Around 1.9 million food parcels and around 14 million loaves of bread have been distributed in various regions of Ukraine since the project began.
