ADRA Romania thanks 21 offices involved in activities for Ukraine Refugees in Romania

ADRA Romania gives 421,554 thanks to the ADRA offices which financially suported the project “Romania Initial Response for Ukraine Refugees”. With 810,000 euros collected, they were able to help 421,554 Ukrainian refugees affected by the war.

For months ADRA Romania assisted people fleeing the war in Ukraine and arriving in Romania. They helped people in the nine border points in Romania and in Bucharest Central Station. They distributed food, hygiene kits, clothing and footwear, electronic products and phone cards, medicines. They also provided transportation and  accommodation to more than 13,000 people.

The financiers of the “Romania Initial Response for Refugees from Ukraine” project were ADRA Austria, ADRA International, ADRA United Kingdom, ADRA France, ADRA Finland, ADRA Norway, ADRA Australia, ADRA Japan, ADRA Belgium, ADRA South Korea, ADRA Italy, ADRA Belgium, ADRA Portugal, ADRA Germany, ADRA Spain, ADRA Puerto Rico, ADRA Chile, ADRA Netherlands, The Conference Union of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Romania, The Seventh-day Adventist Church  Inter-European Division and The Seventh-day Adventist Church Inter-American Division.
