ADRA Ukraine helped children from a front-line settlement get in the holiday spirit

Children from a front-line settlement attended New Year’s party thanks to transport assistance from ADRA Ukraine. They got the opportunity to forget about the shelling and immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere, at least for a short time.

ADRA Ukraine responded to the request of the head of the Zelenodolska community. They provided transport for the children of Marianske together with their companions to the festive event.

The settlement of Marianske of the Dnipropetrovsk region is located on the border with the Kherson region. Until recently, it was located on the demarcation line and suffered from heavy shelling and significant infrastructure destruction.

Assistance is provided within the framework of the Lifesaving Evacuation, Assistance and Protection project with the support of the Canadian government. This project began its activities in June 2022 and covers financial assistance, transport assistance (in particular, evacuation) and psychological support for the affected and vulnerable population groups.
