After-school activities for refugee children
With the arrival of autumn and the start of the new school year, in the Transnistrian region in Moldova, with a large number of refugees from Ukraine, ADRA Moldova started with after-school activities for children.
Ukrainian children who have been involved in school need adjustment from one education system to another.
The assistance and information centre for refugees in Tiraspol, organized by ADRA Moldova, welcomes youth with interactive and recreational activities. They also offer a safe space and help with homework.
The centre is a place to practise the Romanian language and establish new friendships. Refugee children are more motivated, and their mental health is improved.
All ADRA Moldova’s activities, financially supported by ADRA International, have the same goal: to allow refugee children to integrate more easily into the new education system.
