Aid packages for orphans
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Ukraine, Mr Marek Šafin, handed over 80 packages of humanitarian aid for children in the centre of social support for children and families in the Transcarpathian region before Christmas.
Children from the bombed Dnepropetrovsk region are currently living in the centre. It is one of many facilities that provide shelter and assistance services to displaced children and their families.
“The Slovak Embassy in Ukraine played an important role in the process. They connected us with the orphanage and helped hand over aid,” ADRA Slovakia’s representative explained.
ADRA Slovakia’s project, “Strengthening access to basic food and hygiene needs for the most vulnerable part of the population in Ukraine”, is financed by the Official Development Assistance of the Slovak Republic – SlovakAid and implemented in cooperation with ADRA Ukraine.
