Drinking water and hygiene kits for people in need

Residents of settlements of the Donetsk region located on the demarcation line – such as Druzhkivka and Marinka – receive much-needed drinking water and hygiene product.

ADRA Ukraine joined forces with Unicef. Together they recently assisted in Izium in the Kharkiv region, where they delivered about 21,000 litres of drinking water. Since the start of the project, in total, 287,370 litres of bottled water have been given.

They also provide hygiene kits for people in 12 regions of Ukraine, including Chernivtsi, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kharkiv, Kiev, Mykolaiv and others. Most of them are currently home to a large number of internally displaced persons.

Volunteers have distributed about 10,000 hygiene kits and reached more than 23,000 people.

People from vulnerable categories of the population receive family hygiene kit, consisting of personal hygiene products and household chemicals. For the families with children they provide diapers. Kits for people with special needs consisting of items such as diapers for adults, and wet wipes are also available. Individuals receive basic hygiene kits.
