Generating help through generators

ADRA Poland is providing generators to people in Ukraine with no electricity. A power generator, which they bought thanks to the support of donators, has just arrived at the shelter in Uman, Ukraine. 

The population in the city of Uman has no electricity. Due to the bombing of a nearby power plant, there are heating problems. There is no light. Many residents need a way to prepare a hot meal.

“The shelter, to which we have donated the generator, helps many people in need. Many children are under their care. Thanks to the unit, all people who have taken shelter in this place can warm up and receive a hot meal”, an ADRA Poland representative said.

Power generators are currently one of the most urgently needed equipment in Ukraine. ADRA Poland wants to help as many shelters as possible survive the winter in these dramatic conditions. The cost of one unit is about 2100 euros.
