Learning the language is the basis for good integration
One of the opportunities offered by ADRA Moldova to refugees is Romanian language courses. Providing refugees with well-needed language skills to quickly gain a foothold in the Moldova labour market and everyday life is much needed and much appreciated.
Knowing the language of the country where they currently live, Ukrainian refugees can integrate more easily into the fields of labour and Moldovian society. Communication with the people around them is easier, and they can enjoy moments of peace.
The courses, financially supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, are on the premises of the International Training Center and Professional Development in Kishinev. The warm and friendly atmosphere allows for good relationships between the teacher and the students. Students are eager and excited to learn as many words and expressions as possible in the Romanian language.
ADRA Moldova and the Adventist Church from the Republic of Moldova are actively involved in the Ukraine refugee crisis. They are helping the refugees with accommodation, food and hygiene products, and language courses.
