To support families experiening crisis.
Dear Church Family, Dear supporters,
Each year in May, through the Disaster, Famine and Relief Offering, our church family turns compassion into action.
Scripture reminds us that when one part of the body suffers, we all suffer together. In every crisis, we are invited to reflect the heart of Christ: Standing with the vulnerable, comforting the broken and becoming neighbours across borders. Because of your faithfulness, ADRA has been able to stand beside families facing crisis here in Europe and across the world this past year.
In Brussels, Belgium, the homeless receive a quality warm meal – thanks to your support.

When floods devastated communities near Valencia, Spain, you helped families recover from the damages. As severe storms hit Portugal this winter, your support brought practical relief like food, hygiene articles and roof tiles – but more: the feeling of not having to endure hardship alone.
When earthquakes struck Afghanistan last summer, your giving helped provide essential supplies to families that lost everything. Sudan is facing one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world right now. ADRA has worked in Sudan since the 1980s and continues, despite extremely difficult conditions, to support communities through education, health, clean water, and emergency relief.

And in Ukraine, during the harsh winter weeks marked by widespread electricity cuts, ADRA supplied generators so homes and care institutions could stay warm, safe and filled with light.

Thank you for your support. It is love in action. It is justice and compassion made visible.
On 9th May, our global church and you as local congregation, will once again take part in the annual Disaster, Famine and Relief Offering. This offering is more than aid. It is justice for the displaced, compassion for the suffering, and love expressed through practical action.
Emergencies do not wait. When the next earthquake, flood, or conflict occurs, your gift ensures that we as Church and ADRA are ready to reach out and be a blessing to those in need.
Over the coming days, we invite you to pray for those living in crisis. Perhaps choose one country mentioned today and lift it before the Lord.
Thank you for standing with those who suffer, and may God bless you as together we share His love in action.
With gratitude,
Joao Martins,
Regional Director ADRA Europe
